About Fusion Global

The entirety of Scripture points to Yeshua – Jesus.

It is in looking back at what God has done that we can see forward to His future plans for us. “For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” Jeremiah 29:11 This is what Fusion Global is.

At Fusion Global with Rabbi Jason Sobel, we want to add definition to your faith in Yeshua-Jesus as we restore the lost connection to our ancient Hebrew roots and rediscover our forgotten inheritance in Him.

If we could learn how important Jesus felt these festivals, traditions, and old testament teachings were, we would grow to understand how important they should be to us as followers of Yeshua.

By expanding our understanding of prayer and scripture to include ancient Hebrew and contemporary wisdom informed by the Spirit, we can enrich our perspective of Yeshua (Jesus), His teachings, and His disciples.

As described in Luke 4:14-21, Messiah’s ministry kicked off with giving a public reading of the Jewish scriptures! If the Torah reading was central to the worship of Yeshua and His first-century followers, should it not be central to our worship as well?

Jesus’ death and resurrection hold the key to our victory. As our sacrificial lamb, He conquered sin on the cross and overcame the power of death when He rose from the dead. But there’s more to the story.

What is Rosh Chodesh

By observing Rosh Chodesh, we “invite” God into the entire month and make Him Lord over all “our” time. The observance of Rosh Chodesh starts with, “This month will mark the beginning of months for you; it is to be the first month of the year for you” (Exodus 12:2). In response to this text, the Midrash notes, “‘For You’, God said to Israel, ‘Until now, the sanctification of months was in My hands, from now on it is given to you.’”  The first and critical part of Rosh Chodesh observance is the sanctification of the month. As a general principle, sanctification or holiness means “set apart,” and in biblical thought, set apart to God.

Torah

Torah Portion: Parashat Beresheet

The people saw glimpses of both Elohim and YHVH, but most could not understand who Yeshua was. His hidden divinity as Elohim made it hard for people to see beyond His physical being. His true identity was hidden like that of God’s identity in nature. The Divine clothed and concealed in the garments of gashmius—physicality. But after the Resurrection, those who had "eyes to see" recognized Him as both Elohim and YHVH.
