JOURNEYWITH THE RABBI
Discover Yeshua (Jesus), who has been pursuing you since before time.
A live gathering, twice a month, to follow Yeshua as Rabbi, learn as His earliest disciples did, uncover the connections between Old and New, and walk in His ways.
- Fall 2026 begins Tuesday, October 6
- Tuesdays at 7 p.m. Central (8 p.m. Eastern), live on Zoom
- Gather with others from across the globe
Hosted by Rabbi Jason Sobel, with new teachings from Transformed by the Messiah
This season
The Birth of the Messiah
You know the story of His birth. But have you seen what it was really saying?
- Bethlehem.
- Shepherds.
- Swaddling cloths.
- A manger.
- Ancient prophecies.
- Hidden patterns.
Nothing is accidental.
In this season of Journey, Rabbi Jason uncovers the Jewish roots and prophetic mysteries surrounding the birth of Yeshua, and reveals how the Hebrew Scriptures illuminate the Christmas story in remarkable ways.
Discover how details we often overlook point to God's faithfulness, His redemptive plan, and the Messiah He promised from the beginning.
Once you see the connections, you may never read the story of His birth the same way again.
Join the Journey CommunityMore than a Bible study.A journey of discipleship.
Journey with the Rabbi is a live gathering, twice a month, for those who want to follow Yeshua as He was first followed: as Rabbi.
Each time we gather, we open the Scriptures together through the lens of Torah and the world of Yeshua's earliest disciples. We uncover the connections between Old and New, ask honest questions, and learn not only what to believe, but how to walk out our faith as disciples of Yeshua.
This is not simply a class to watch or a program to complete. It is a shared journey of learning, formation, and transformation, shaped by teaching, conversation, and relationship.
Discipleship is more than gaining information. It is becoming like the One we follow.
See the connections.Know the Messiah.Walk in His ways.
Before Yeshua was known as Redeemer, He was followed as Rabbi.
And His invitation remains the same:
Follow Me.
If you are hungry to go deeper, see Scripture with fresh eyes, and walk the ancient path of faith, this journey is for you.

From past journeys
"The Journey with the Rabbi offered a deeper Messianic nuance, highlighting that divine redemption requires humility and forgiveness, exemplified by Yeshua's journey from the entry into Jerusalem through to the crucifixion."
Liz, Australia
"Studying the Bible with Rabbi Jason for me is like soaking in 'milk and honey,' helping me absorb the truth and beauty of God's Word, adding substance in my life and enabling me to share with others."
Janette, Texas
"Studying the Bible with Rabbi Jason has provided me the framework for better understanding the Word of G-d. The lessons have shown me how the Old and New Testament are woven together and why we need to understand both in order to understand the whole."
Connie, Illinois

Questions
I'm a Teaching Library member. Do I need to pay?
No. Journey is included in your Teaching Library membership. Choose "Register as a member" in the registration section and use the email address connected to your membership.
What is the Teaching Library?
The Teaching Library is a collection of hundreds of Rabbi Jason's teachings, including courses like Letters and Numbers, past Torah portions, the Biblical holidays, and more. It's offered as a thank-you to recurring monthly donors of $25 or more, and Journey is included in your membership. Learn about the Teaching Library
What does it mean to sponsor a seat?
When you choose Join + Sponsor Another, your gift covers the seat of someone who is unable to contribute. Everyone receives the same complete Journey, whichever way they join.
How does the monthly payment work?
Each $7.99 payment covers one month of Journey, including both of that month's sessions. Join + Sponsor Another works the same way at $15.98 a month. You're billed monthly only during the season, October through December. There are no charges between seasons, and you keep access to your recordings during the break. Before Winter 2027 begins, we'll let you know how to continue with the next season. You can cancel anytime from your Journey account on Thinkific, the website where Journey lives (click your name in the top right corner, choose My Account, then Billing), or by emailing [email protected].
Checkout says "Welcome back! Enter your password," but I don't have a password. What do I do?
This means you already have an account on Thinkific, the website where Journey lives. It may be from a past Journey season, the Teaching Library, or an earlier sign-up.
- Under the password box, click Need help signing in? A new tab will open.
- Enter your email address and click Submit.
- Check your inbox (and spam folder) for an email titled "Reset password instructions." Click Change my password and create your password. The link works for 1 hour.
- You'll be signed in and taken to your dashboard. Come back to this page and click your registration option again to finish.
Already requested a Sponsored Seat? You're all set. Journey will already be on your dashboard. If you'd like to switch to a paid option, contact Sheri Kane at [email protected].
What if I miss a session?
Everything is online in your Journey account. Each session's teaching and study guide open a few days before we gather, so you can watch ahead or watch again. Rabbi Jason's teachings are rich, and many people find a second viewing helps. The recording of the live Q&A is added within a day or two after each session, and the devotional opens the day after we meet. After you register, we'll email you instructions for accessing Journey online. You'll keep access to your recordings between seasons.
Do I need to download Zoom?
No. You can join from the free Zoom app or from your web browser, though the app usually works most smoothly. If you'd like to join a breakout room, you'll need a free Zoom account. Our simple step-by-step guide walks you through setting one up. We recommend using the same email you used to register for Journey.
How will I get the Zoom link?
Your Zoom link will be in your confirmation email, and we'll send a reminder with the link before each session. It's the same link every time, so you may want to save that email for easy access.
What if I don't receive my confirmation email?
First, check your spam or junk folder. If it's not there, your email address may have been mistyped when you registered. Email Sheri Kane at [email protected] and include:
- Your full name
- The email address you meant to use
- About when you registered
- Which option you chose: Teaching Library member, $7.99, Join + Sponsor Another, or Sponsored Seat
We'll find your registration, correct it, and resend your information. Please don't register again, especially if you paid, so you aren't charged twice.
What happens in the breakout rooms?
Breakout rooms are optional. If you sign up, they begin right after the live Q&A, around 9 p.m. Eastern (8 p.m. Central), and stay open for up to an hour. Each room has no more than 10 people and is hosted by a Journey volunteer, using the discussion questions from Rabbi Jason's study guide. Your first time together includes a chance to get to know one another.
Unlike the teaching and Q&A, breakout rooms are not recorded, so your conversations stay within your group. If you'd like to be in the same room as a friend, just let Sheri know. If more people sign up than we have volunteer hosts, some may be placed on a short wait list for the first week or two while we add rooms.
Can I join partway through the season?
Yes, you're welcome to join anytime. Your first $7.99 payment covers the month you join, including both of that month's sessions, plus the session just before it. We're also preparing a way for late joiners to catch up on earlier sessions, and we'll share the details in the coming weeks. Teaching Library members receive the complete season as part of their membership.
